Gloom! Card Game 2nd Edition
Take control of an eccentric family of misfits in this darkly comic storytelling card game. Your aim is to make your own family as unhappy as possible while trying to improve the fortunes of your opponents’ families.
Transparent cards are layered over one another to alter characters’ Self-Worth scores and tell a developing story of unfortunate events. Play cards that bring misery to your own family, including suitably macabre incidents, while using positive events to help rival families.
When a family’s story reaches its conclusion, the player whose family has the lowest total Self-Worth wins. The game combines strategic card play with creative storytelling, making each session unfold differently.
